This is really a surprise. The layout is great, but unfortunately much too narrow for the origPapy67, which massively disrupts the flow. :sorrow:

Scaled to 5564m {x1.5} it looks different. Now you can have a really hot race against the AI, and overtaking is also possible with a track width of 10m.
It's fun, even without trackside objects. Pure racing. :twothumbs:

THX Pirx

..thank you Vertex! I know this problem - trackwidth is what I´m struggling with. It is not finally setted now. I don´t know how much I should increase it... I agree on making the track "raceable" but struggle with the feeling of changing its originality .. Whats your opinion on that? Scaling the whole track to get a width of 10m is a common solution? (I remember a tool that can scale a track...whats the name?)

And, would you be so kind and send me your GTK to test it?

thank you,
pirx

Are you sure that the historically correct layout will not be fun ??? I don't want to destroy your project and not manipulate the end result.
I only scaled the Track so that it is usable for origPapy67. A purely personal thing.
The layout is simply too awesome so as not to use it for stronger engines.

Otherwise I can of course send you a link to test. But keep in mind, many Hardcore-Simmer want it historically correctly. You can put it to the vote. The Mod65 is very popular, so it could work well. As I said, I don't want to manipulate anything here, but the track width should be at least 9m from experience.
10m width should be the slightest problem. It's more about 5564m length, right?

BTW ... trk23doz {I recommend this version} only scales the length.

Hello Pirx and Vertex.

Perhaps at the end could we have the two versions as they seems to both have qualities. For example we have two versions of Funabashi.

..yes, it's more about the 5564m length - I don´t want that really. But the info about 10m trackwidth is a good on for me, I´ll adopt that on some parts of the track...

thx for the "trk23doz"-info!

BTW, how did you extract my track to manipulate or did you built it from scratch? I thought this is only possible with a gtk-file?
