Sitting in my race seat is still painful on my ribs so I am not sure if i can race tonight.

I will take a couple of pills and see how it goes.

And these aren't the cars to drive with a bad back Paul. Hope you can make it!

Engine failure :?
I never was over 7800. At the race start, too
But i have reached my goal: to start last, but not to end at last
Only the checkered flag i saw not

Qualifying went well - the usual sandbaggers came out of the closet to set great times but that was expected! :D
At the start I got away OK but shortly after the car infront slowed so I had to brake and the car behind me tagged me which meant I was nearly last but more annoyingly behind 'El Gringo' in his wingless rocket ship. Followed him for a couple of laps and thought I was close enough for a dive up the inside at the end of the back straight but it wasnt really on and Doni (rightly) turned in and I just clipped him. Slowed for him but unfortunately he had to retire. Sorry Doni  :s hifty: . Carried on now behind Pavel. Managed to get past him (leaving plenty of room with the Doni incident still fresh in my mind) and was just slowly pulling away. Coming out of the last turn he dissapeared and I thought he had spun out but then noticed all the names in the track position list has turned light blue - never seen this before??? Then they all came back to normal again and a car was close behind me - I assume Pavel? Was this an internet dropout? Continued driving but then noticed my lap counter wasnt going up. Something clearly wrong at my end so I decided it was safest to retire the car as I couldnt be sure who was around me. These cars are quite fragile so not sure I would have made the end anyway.

Thanks for organising. And well done to whoever wins the race!
